Card of the day – The Lovers
A card has been presented to me today by the lovely Helen Fahey.
On the picture you can see the lovers entwined around a tree with Archangel Raphael looking down upon them.
Tarot cards meanings can be complex and hinge on the issue at hand. For example the lovers can mean unpredictable changes, friendship, newness, travel etc etc depending on the reason it has been pulled.
Today The Lovers represents a shift inwards a shift to love oneself above the needs of others, an end to the past and a start on the new path, an acceptance that the past cannot be changed but the future is still to be sculpted.
To enhance lovers I picked a card from my favourite deck (see photo) and received The Star.
On the Star you will see a woman bending down with two jugs of water, she is practical but is also nourishing her spiritual side as the water flows, in the sky is a large star surrounded by smaller stars, this is a call to cleanse your chakras and replenish the spiritual side of your being.
In conjunction with the lovers on this occasion I would read the way to acceptance of the past and the way on the new path is to remember your spiritual requirements, cleanse and lighten the aura, ground yourself and begin the future with an acceptance of who you are and what your spiritual needs are. The courage and inspiration are there to enter into a loving relationship with yourself and those around you, the future starts today.
